SPAIN Castor Underground Natural Gas Storage (UGS) Project
Castor UGS involves converting the abandoned Amposta oil field to a natural gas storage facility supplying primarily Spain's industrialized east coast. It is expected to enter service in 2010.

NEW CORPORATE STRUCTURE
CLP, ACS and Enagas on December 20, 2007 entered into a tripartite agreement that apportioned ownership of Castor UGS and assigned commitments within the partnership.

THE UGS PROCESS
Castor UGS will provide approximately one-third of Spain's UGS deliverability requirements and 100% of the east coast's natural gas storage.

With the grant of the key approval, the Castor Development Concession, in May 2008, the project can now begin procuring long-lead-time equipment.
