Eurogas (now Dundee Energy Limited “Dundee Energy”) has been planning, promoting and advancing the Castor UGS project since first recognizing the opportunity in 1995. Dundee Energy Limited led Castor through its early stages, including technical evaluations and environmental study, reservoir testing including well drilling, front end engineering and design, and key regulatory steps, before entering into a strategic partnership with senior Spanish companies to move the project into the financing and EPC phases. Natural gas injection is forecast to commence in the second half of 2012.
