In September 2010, the wellhead platform was installed and drilling operations commenced. Major items such as compressors, drying units and other long-lead items have been tendered and contracted. Construction had commenced on the onshore facilities.

 

Drilling of wells is expected to take approximately 18 months, during which time the offshore processing platform will be assembled and the pipeline from the onshore plant to the onshore facilities will be installed. As of August 2011, 6 new wells had been drilled.

 

Project financing is in place. The partners continue to estimate that natural gas injection will commence in the second half of 2012, with commercial storage operations commencing in 2013. For further project details, please click here.
